Our Impact

Sustainable Development Goals

Our AI-driven job-sharing employer recognition program directly advances four United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

SDG 5: Gender Equality

Target 5.4 – Recognize and value unpaid care and domestic work through the provision of public services, infrastructure, and social protection policies, and the promotion of shared responsibility within the household and the family as nationally appropriate.

Target 5.5 – Ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic, and public life.

Why Half.me aligns: Women disproportionately bear the "childcare penalty," forcing them to downshift their careers or leave the workforce entirely. By creating high-level, part-time job-sharing structures, we can prevent the structural exclusion of mothers from professional paths.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

Target 8.5 – By 2030, achieve full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including for young people and persons with disabilities, and equal pay for work of equal value.

Why Half.me aligns: Our program actively fights the systemic bias that forces parents to choose between a 24/7 corporate grind or low-wage, underemployed part-time work. It creates a new framework for "decent work" that respects human boundaries while contributing to economic productivity.

SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

Target 10.2 – By 2030, empower and promote the social, economic, and political inclusion of all, irrespective of age, sex, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, or economic or other status.

Why Half.me aligns: The current corporate framework creates a massive economic chasm between dual-income households with live-in care and solo parents or families without safety nets. Our program reduces this inequality by opening up elite, sustainable corporate revenue streams to parents who can only work part-time hours.

SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

Target 17.17 – Encourage and promote effective public, public-private, and civil society partnerships, building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships.

Why Half.me aligns: Our business model relies on a Corporate Recognition/Certification Program. By cross-pollinating our framework with corporate partners, we are building a coalition of private sector entities dedicated to solving a public social issue. Half.me also seeks to collaborate and integrate with other family forward workplace recognition programs.
